India Exhibits through Virtual Trade Shows; EPCH takes the
Digital Leap
- organises
IFJAS
and IHGF Textiles Virtual Fairs

Dear Fellow Exporters,
It is a matter of great pride that your Council has organised india's first virtual trade show for the global audience. IFJAS 2020 Virtual from 1-4 June 2020, helped us all looked beyond the despair caused by the COVID 19 pandemic. This first step in the digital exhibition space has exposed us to the immense possibilities and helped us understand the tools of success in the virtual fairground. This first-hand experience and the learnings of importance & power of the digital technology will prove to be of much value in times ahead. Quite aptly, fashion being the first mover, the Fashion Jewellery and Accessories segment took this first step in this new virtual arena. The show was replete with Fashion Shows, Craft Demonstrations and Knowledge Webinars.
In quick succession, the Home Textiles, Furnishings and Floor Coverings segment also witnessed a dedicated virtual show, IHGF Textiles Virtual 2020 held from 15-18 June 2020. It was important for this segment which has been facing stiff competition from other international suppliers to raise the bar and respond to the need of the hour. 400 participants benefited from participation in these virtual shows.
Both the shows provided a run up to the Virtual 49th IHGF Delhi Fair, scheduled for 13-19 July, where all segments would be represented and bigger buyer presence is expected for this iconic show. I wish all participants the best of business tidings.
Besides the shows, in the month of June, your Council organsed six pan India webinars and audio seminars in various clusters, on various important topics. These have been opportunities to interact and share views. I urge each one of you to continue to attend these sessions and benefit from the same.
Always in expectation of your valuable suggestions at [email protected].
